1. Working principle
The ball mill is composed of a rotatable horizontal cylinder and internal steel balls and other grinding media. When the horizontal ball mill is running, the ball in the cylinder is lifted to a certain height under the action of friction and centrifugal force, and then slips, rolls or falls down. Because the ball mill is completely closed operation, the volatilization loss is limited only during feeding and discharging, and the pollution to the environment is small. At the same time, the product will not be polluted by external dust and moisture. Therefore, the ball mill is especially suitable for the dispersion of toxic paint paste and high volatile paint paste. For example, it is often used in the production of marine paint.
③Easy and safe to operate, so the process does not require a lot of care, saving manpower.
④The equipment structure is simple and the maintenance cost is low.
⑤Strong adaptability. It can disperse the lacquer prepared by various pigments, soft or hard, coarse or fine, and the lacquer with false thick phenomenon.
⑥In the dispersion process, metal fines can be prevented from polluting. The product adopts a steel wall stone-lined horizontal ball mill and uses ceramic balls or pebbles. The product does not contact with the metal, so as to prevent the metal fines from affecting the product performance. This feature makes the horizontal ball mill suitable for manufacturing insulating paint.
